“Did you know that Centennial Hall at UCLA is one of the newest additions to the Hill?” Completed in 2021 it stands as a testament to UCLA’s commitment to providing student housing. Centennial Hall got its name because the project broke ground during the celebration of UCLA’s 100th birthday in 2019.

Centennial Hall along with Olympic Hall adds 621 rooms. That equals 1800 new beds for undergraduate students. This addition significantly helps UCLA move toward its goal. The goal is a “4:2 guarantee”. This means four years of UCLA housing to any first-year student or two years for any transfer student.

Before Centennial Hall existed, this location was just Lot 15. Now it’s a vibrant living space for students.

Living in Centennial Hall offers some great perks. Students say it has quick access to Rieber dining options. It’s also close to the makerspace and tennis courts. However, be prepared for a longer walk to class.

One of the best things about Centennial Hall is the room size. Students rave about the massive rooms. Even in a triple, the space feels generous with plenty of storage. The large windows offer great views. If your room faces the tennis courts, you will get free entertainment watching the matches below.

The building itself is known for its cleanliness. It is still very new. While some rooms facing Hitch lack natural light the overall experience is highly recommended.

Verified students who have lived in Centennial Hall give glowing reviews. They describe it as awesome with great people and a prime location for dining halls. Others describe it as quiet and peaceful. Lounges are usually free since there are not too many people per floor.

Centennial Hall boasts deluxe triple and deluxe double style housing. Bathrooms are really nice. One student mentioned the best water fountain is on the second floor.

Living in Centennial Hall provides a balance of comfort, community, and convenience. Its modern amenities and spacious rooms make it a sought-after residence on the Hill. The location is super safe and close to dining halls.

Centennial Hall is near LEED Gold certification. It has sustainable materials throughout. It also saves energy costs.

UCLA is dedicated to offering premier public institution. Making these spaces as comfortable and enjoyable as possible encourages good study habits for students.
