In January 2015 the complex hosted 24 games of the Under-20 Championship. This included the final between Panama and Mexico. The complex was even used as a temporary health center. It helped administer COVID-19 vaccines. The facility then closed for repairs. Recently it reopened in April 2023. The Jamaican government invested 300 million dollars in renovations.
