Nestled within the vibrant city of Milan, Cascina dell’Arte awaits. It’s not just a building. It’s a testament to the fusion of art, nature, and community. Cascina dell’Arte, as its name suggests, is a farmhouse dedicated to art. The Associazione Arte in Cascina, established in 2013, breathes life into this unique space. Their mission is to promote and develop cultural and artistic initiatives, particularly those that connect artists with the rural farmsteads surrounding Milan. One of their early successes was the “Art and Food in Cascina” project in 2014. This project showcased the beautiful interplay between art and agriculture in the areas surrounding Milan. This success fueled their ambition. Cascina dell’Arte became a hub for even larger projects, including their involvement in Expo 2015. They curated the “Art from Nature” event, a celebration of Land Art within the Civil Society Pavilion at Cascina Triulza. The association’s commitment extends beyond exhibitions. They actively support artists and creatives. They aim to bridge the gap between urban life and the rural landscapes that offer unique inspiration. Cascina dell’Arte isn’t simply a gallery; it’s a living embodiment of the association’s vision. A vision where art thrives in unexpected places, nourished by the spirit of community and the beauty of nature.
