This remarkable structure occupies part of the Real Vinícola block. Imagine this site a century ago. It bustled with activity. Years later neglect and decay threatened to consume the space. Yet the spirit of architecture prevailed.
The Municipality of Matosinhos saw potential. They initiated a restoration project guided by architect Guilherme Machado Vaz. His vision was to reconcile the forces of nature and human endeavor. Trees that grew amidst the ruins now thrive in thoughtfully created patios.
