Is it just me or does the name Caoping evoke images of a serene meadow? It is a place steeped in history and culture. Caoping is actually a township in Guilin. It is home to the Hui ethnic group.

Caoping is located in the northeast of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. Guilin is a prefecture-level city. It is known as Sweet Osmanthus. This is because of fragrant Osmanthus trees.
