“What if every building in Jintang County were powered by sunshine?” I muse aloud standing before the Bureau of Municipal and Rural Construction Jintang. This bureau plays a crucial role in shaping the future of Jintang. It oversees construction and development in both urban and rural areas. It is a key player in Chengdu’s green revolution.

Chengdu embraces the “park city” philosophy. This vision prioritizes low-carbon transition. Green development is at the heart of its socioeconomic progress. Jintang County is at the forefront of this initiative. Huaizhou New City is home to industrial giants. TW Solar, B&M Science and Technology, CATL, and Dynanonic all operate here.

These companies focus on photovoltaic technology and new lithium batteries. The area is attracting businesses from across China. Companies from Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao are investing here.

Local officials believe this growth connects the photovoltaic industry. It accelerates Chengdu’s green and low-carbon ambitions. TW Solar invested 3.2 billion yuan in a Jintang base. This is the first gigawatt-level photovoltaic component production base in Southwest China. The base is expected to generate 40 billion yuan annually. It will also create 3,000 jobs.

TW Solar plans to invest in another photovoltaic project in Chengdu’s Shuangliu district. This project will have a 20 GW capacity. It is expected to open in 2025. Chengdu’s photovoltaic industry already generates nearly 20 billion yuan. It includes more than 20 businesses in Jintang County and Shuangliu district.

The Bureau of Municipal and Rural Construction Jintang is helping to realize this vision. Chengdu is also promoting hydrogen energy. This includes fuel cells and vehicles. The city is developing a complete hydrogen energy industrial chain. This chain covers production, storage, transportation, refueling, and application. Function areas are being mapped out in the Pidu and Longquanyi districts.

More than 60 hydrogen businesses and R&D institutions operate in Chengdu. These include Dongfang Electric Corporation, HQHP, and SinoHytec. The Western Industry Park for Hydrogen is under construction. It will be the largest hydrogen energy industrial complex in Chengdu.

The Bureau of Municipal and Rural Construction Jintang is involved in infrastructure support. This includes municipal road networks and ecological projects. These projects improve urban capacity and promote low-carbon living.

The construction of a 30GW solar cell project has begun in Jintang County. Tongwei Group is building the Tongwei Solar Photovoltaic Industrial Base Project. The first phase involves 7.5GW capacity. Subsequent phases are planned based on market demands.

Tongwei aims to make the Jintang Project a model of 5G+ advanced manufacturing. The project will develop a major production base. This will allow the firm to export photovoltaic products to European markets. The project is expected to create over 10,000 new jobs.

As you can see, the Bureau of Municipal and Rural Construction Jintang is vital. It is helping Jintang County become a leader in green development. It ensures that every new project aligns with the vision of a sustainable future.
