On September 29 2013 something momentous happened. Three communities Britelo Gemeos and Ourilhe united. They formed the União das Freguesias de Britelo Gemeos e Ourilhe. This wasn’t just a merging of maps. It was a blending of histories. It was a joining of destinies.
