Founded in 1933 as Spring Branch Community Church Bridgepoint Bible Church has a rich history. It’s a cornerstone of the Houston community. The church has played a vital role in spreading God’s word. Hundreds of missionaries have been sent across the globe. Bridgepoint has also been instrumental in planting new churches.
For over eighty years Bridgepoint has served a growing membership. It remains very active in the Energy Corridor area of West Houston. Hurricane Harvey caused significant flooding. The church underwent extensive renovations. The project involved approximately 56000 square feet. This included the commons and multi-purpose hall. These areas were crucial to the church’s functionality. The renovation cost approximately $6400000.
Before the renovations Bridgepoint faced challenges with its equipment. Its Konica Minolta equipment and service were problematic. The wide format device was outdated and eventually malfunctioned. In fact the printer was in such poor condition that they needed hand-delivered output for a church service. Now the church boasts superior devices and software. They upgraded to a Fiery RIP improving color quality dramatically. The new equipment prints faster with better color and consistency and minimal downtime. An all-day demonstration ensured the staff’s familiarity with the new technology.
Bridgepoint Bible Church offers Sunday services at 1000 am and 1100 am. It’s a welcoming place for families. The church also hosts Celebrate Recovery sessions every Wednesday evening. These sessions provide support and fellowship to those in need. Bridgepoint actively addresses both spiritual and social needs. It’s a vibrant church enhancing the well-being of its community.
