In 1941 ground was broken for the original high school. It was a humble beginning five classrooms a small library and one science lab. The school quickly outgrew its space. Classes were held in unusual locations a concrete bunker the American Legion Hall even abandoned army camp buildings. Boulder City High School. This campus grew. In 1949 ground was broken for this location on 5th Street. Imagine the students back then. They witnessed a city’s growth a school’s evolution. They were part of something truly special. Today Boulder City High School stands proud. It’s a 25-acre campus a testament to the community’s dedication to education. The school has seen renovations throughout the years. A new gym.
