Founded in 1976 Boston Baptist College boasts a rich history. It began as Baptist Bible Institute East in Shrub Oak New York. A.V. Henderson and John Rawlings established the college. It was a sister institution to Baptist Bible College in Springfield Missouri. In 1981 the college relocated to Hyde Park Massachusetts. This is where it stands today. The name changed to Boston Baptist College in 2002. The college’s five-acre campus sits in a quiet residential neighborhood. It’s conveniently close to downtown Boston.
