Every October 8th a ceremony takes place. This year was different due to the pandemic. The usual ceremony at the Basilica di Sant’Ambrogio was moved here. Monsignor Giuseppe Vegezzi officiated the mass. He spoke to the gathered mourners. Many people attended even though physical contact was restricted. The ceremony included the awarding of scholarships. These were given in memory of the victims. It also involved ongoing work. This involves a documentary and a book planned for the 20th anniversary.
