A large extension followed in 1929, adding classrooms, a gymnasium, and a kitchen. The Body of Christ Christian Center served as a beacon of faith for many years. It housed Greater St. Mark’s Missionary Baptist Church until 1995. Then, the Body of Christ Christian Center called this building home until 2013. The building itself stands as a testament to time.
