The Bockwindmühle Marzahn is more than a pretty picture. It’s a working museum. A meticulously crafted replica of a 1900s mill it showcases traditional milling techniques. The last one was sadly demolished in 1978.
The current Bockwindmühle Marzahn is a symbol of revival. A conscious effort to preserve a piece of Berlin’s history. With a wingspan of 20.5 meters and a weight of 44 tons it’s capable of producing up to 1000 kilograms of flour daily. That’s a lot of bread.

Tours are available but only by appointment. The Bockwindmühle Marzahn’s opening hours are limited. It’s open Monday to Friday from 10 am to 12 pm and 1 pm to 4 pm. On Sundays from April to October it opens from 3 pm to 5 pm. Entry is free.
