Deep within the heart of Porto, a hidden gem awaits: Boca do Lobo. Not just a furniture store, Boca do Lobo is an experience. Founded in 2005 in nearby Rio Tinto, Boca do Lobo set out to be the best in furniture design and production. They’ve certainly achieved something special. Boca do Lobo is known as the “jeweler” of furniture design. Each piece is handcrafted in Portugal, imbued with the artisans’ passion. They blend traditional techniques with modern technology. Think hand-carved mahogany alongside digital clocks. The result? Furniture as art. Boca do Lobo’s pieces tell stories. The D.Manuel cabinet, for example, features a mahogany twisted rope base inspired by King Manuel I and the Manuelino maritime style. Yet, it’s topped with a contemporary cabinet resembling a skyline. The contrast is captivating. Another example is the Pixel Cabinet. It’s composed of 1088 triangles, a mix of silver and gold leaf, lacquer, and ten different types of wood. Open it, and an aged mirror and nine drawers are revealed. These pieces evoke emotion and become part of a lifestyle. Here at their Porto showroom, you can witness the magic firsthand. Boca do Lobo invites you to expect the unexpected.
