Block A is part of the Short Term Car Park. This is a key spot within Kuala Lumpur International Airport, KLIA. It offers convenient parking solutions.
Did you know that the Short Term Car Park has a whopping 5,933 parking lots? That includes Block A, B, and C. It is a massive area catering to thousands of vehicles. Also it offers 52 parking bays for handicapped drivers. They are thoughtfully placed on every level of Block A and Block B.
Let’s talk rates. For short-term parking in Block A, B, and C, the first three hours cost RM 5.00 per hour. The rates adjust slightly as you park longer. From the 4th to 5th hour, it is RM 4.00 per hour. It then drops to RM 3.00 per hour from the 6th to 10th hour.
For longer stays, from the 11th to 17th hour, the rate is RM 2.00 per hour. The maximum rate per day is capped at RM 52.00. If you lose your chip coin, there is a penalty charge of RM 50.00. Keep that ticket safe.
Block A is also linked to long-term parking solutions. You can find the KLIA Long Term Car Park at Block A and B. This provides an alternative if you need parking for several days.
For payment, you can use autopay machines. These are near the parking bays. Touch ‘n Go cards are also accepted. There’s an additional 10% surcharge for using Touch ‘n Go.
Security is a priority here. The parking lot has 24-hour surveillance cameras. Your vehicle’s safety is monitored at all times. Block A gives you handy access to the KLIA terminal. It combines cost-effectiveness and security. This is the first step of your journey.
