The Injury Biomechanics Research and Testing Facilities are also housed here. These labs are used for automotive component testing and military vehicle research. They also develop anthropometric test devices. Researchers in the Rehab Robotics and Biomechanics Lab are developing robots. These robots help restore neuromuscular function. The Vascular Regeneration and Mechanics Lab is engineering blood vessels. They aim to create grafts for surgery and models for disease study.
