Gazing at the Bible Way Baptist Church, have you ever considered the power of words? The very name, Bible Way Baptist Church, declares a commitment to scripture. Right here in the Greater Heights area of Houston, this independent Baptist church strives to follow the great commission outlined in Matthew 18:19-20. The Bible Way Baptist Church embraces the Gospel of Jesus Christ. They define this gospel according to 1 Corinthians 15:1-3. The church sees this truth as paramount for its congregation. Sharing this gospel, shining its light, and declaring its message are central to the Bible Way Baptist Church’s mission. They aim to earnestly contend for the faith, maintain unity within their community, and teach the Gospels of Christ with clarity. Leading this congregation is Robert L. Dunn, affectionately known as Brother Bobby. A charter member, Brother Bobby has served as a minister for over 25 years. He, along with the Bible Way Baptist Church community, find strength in Romans 1:16. This verse speaks to the power of the gospel of Christ as a means of salvation.
