Born from humble prayer meetings in 1983 Beulah Temple stands as a testament to faith. It began in the home of Deacon Mark and Sister Jessie Elliot. Pastor Michael assisted two senior elders. These weekly gatherings blossomed. They grew into Bible studies and then a Sunday school. This all happened in the home of Apostle and Mother Wilbur and Sandra Jones. Beulah Temple’s journey is one of growth. It shows the power of consistent prayer.

In 1985 Pastor Michael received a significant ordination. He was ordained an Elder in Los Angeles. This happened at the International Holy Convocation of the Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ of the Apostolic Faith Inc. He achieved a perfect score of 100 on his catechism. He was then appointed Pastor of Beulah Annex. This was the church’s original name.

The congregation moved to its first church home in 1987. This was at 1328 Flatbush Avenue. The church officially incorporated as Beulah Tabernacle. In 1994 another move happened. This time to 2256 Nostrand Avenue. This date holds special significance. It is the birthday of Pastor Michael’s late mother Sis. Evadne Louise Michael.

Beulah Temple’s ministry thrives in East Flatbush Brooklyn. It’s close to Brooklyn College. The church actively engages the community. It sows seeds of the gospel bringing change to lives. The church embodies the spirit of Acts 2:42-47. It emphasizes fellowship breaking bread and prayer. Beulah Temple’s story is a journey of faith community and service. It’s a beacon of hope in the heart of Brooklyn. It continues to grow and serve its community. The church’s mission is to spread God’s love.
