Founded in 1883 Beulah Baptist Church boasts a rich history. Initially a small gathering of 29 charter members it grew steadily. The church relocated several times. It constructed buildings. It faced challenges including financial limitations. Despite these difficulties Beulah Baptist Church persevered. It expanded its services and facilities. The church experienced periods of growth and renovation. Beulah Baptist Church underwent significant changes. These involved adding Sunday School rooms. It also had the addition of an indoor baptistery. The church even added air conditioning a modern amenity in the 1960s.

Several pastors guided Beulah Baptist Church throughout its existence. Rev. H K Ezell served as the first pastor. Other notable pastors included Rev. R H Blalock. Rev. W P Rochester tragically died in a car accident. His tenure was cut short. Rev. Jiles W “Bill” Crouch served in the late 1980s and 1990s. His missionary work in India was significant. He even inspired the naming of a church in India Beulah. Unfortunately Rev. Crouch passed away after a liver transplant.

Beulah Baptist Church played a vital role in its community. It provided spiritual guidance and support. The church was involved in various mission trips. These ranged from local to international missions. The church’s impact spread far beyond its walls. Six men from Beulah Baptist Church entered full-time Christian ministry. The church has actively supported missionaries worldwide.
