“Did anyone bring a fan?” a woman chuckled, fanning herself with a program outside the Bethel. Here in Cali, where the rhythm of salsa fills the air, stands another beloved landmark: the Bethel. This unassuming house of worship holds a special place in the heart of Cali. Now, before you picture a grand cathedral, let me tell you, Bethel is more intimate, more like a community hub where faith and friendship intertwine. It’s a place where, for generations, the people of Cali have gathered not just for worship but also for solace, for connection, for the comfort of familiar hymns and shared prayers.
