Bethel New York is a church plant of Bethel Redding. This means it was started by Bethel Redding. The church has two locations. One is in NoHo. The other is on the Upper West Side. Specifically it meets at Central Baptist Church at 166 W 92nd Street.

Bethel New York believes in a living God. This God actively pursues His children. They believe in miracles signs and wonders. They feel He wants to walk with everyone in a close and supernatural way.

The church wants people from all walks of life to fully awaken. They want people to discover their relationship with God. Bethel New York hopes people will know God’s goodness. They want people to understand their God-given destiny. And they hope people partner with Him. The goal is to bring Heaven to Earth.

Joel and Sarah Power felt called by God to plant Bethel New York. The Bethel Senior Leadership Team supported this call. They sent the Powers to establish an apostolic center. This center would equip believers for revival.

The launch date for Bethel New York was September 24 2023. Sunday services are held at 5:00 pm.

Joel and Sarah Power and their three children moved from Australia to join Bethel in Redding California. Joel served as a pastor in Bethel’s School of Supernatural Ministry. He also worked with the Bethel Leaders Network. Joel is a visionary. He is passionate about building connecting and supporting leaders.

Sarah is passionate about prayer. She values intimacy with God. She is led by the Holy Spirit. She stewards prophetic promises. Sarah feels called to see revival and reformation in cities.

Rebecca Couper and Beth Regattieri joined Joel and Sarah. They helped build the foundation of Bethel New York.

Bethel Church was founded in 1954. It was previously part of the Assemblies of God. Now it is a non-denominational church in Redding California. Its congregation includes almost 10000 people.
