Established in 1971, the Berlin School of Economics and Law – Schoeneberg Campus buzzes with activity. This campus isn’t just a place of learning. It’s a hub of international collaboration, a testament to Berlin’s resilience, and a stepping stone for thousands of students. The Berlin School of Economics and Law, often abbreviated as BSEL, has a rich history. Originally founded as the Berlin School of Economics (BSE), it later merged with the FHVR Berlin in 2009 to become the institution we see today. Here at the Schoeneberg Campus, you’ll find the university administration, along with the Faculty of Business and Economics and the BPS Berlin Professional School. The campus is nestled in Berlin-Schöneberg, a vibrant district with a unique character. While this campus houses key administrative functions, the Berlin School of Economics and Law also has another campus in Lichtenberg. That campus houses several other faculties, including those for Company-Linked Programmes, Administration and Law, Law itself, Police Training and Management, and the Institute for Distance Learning. The BSEL is deeply connected to the global community. It boasts partnerships with over 150 universities worldwide. This offers students a chance to broaden their horizons and experience diverse cultures. Imagine collaborating with students from Italy, Australia, the Netherlands, Great Britain, France, India, Canada, Mexico, China, Japan, the United States, and Hong Kong. This international focus is a key part of what makes the Berlin School of Economics and Law so special. One unique opportunity offered by BSEL is a 5-year dual degree program with ESCE International Business School in Paris. This prestigious program allows bilingual students to earn a Master in Management from ESCE and a Master of Arts from HWR Berlin. The program is supported by the Franco-German University, highlighting the strong ties between these two countries. The Berlin School of Economics and Law – Schoeneberg Campus isn’t just about academics. It’s about building connections, fostering international understanding, and preparing students for a globalized world.
