Established in 1921 Beijing No 8 High School stands as a testament to academic excellence. Initially known as Si Cun Middle School it merged with Peking No 8 Middle School in 1949. This is how it received its current name. Beijing No 8 High School boasts a remarkable legacy. Nearly all its graduates gain entry to top Chinese universities. After completion it became the only school inside the 2nd ring road to feature a standard elevated sports field.
