Founded in 1950, the Beijing Film Academy has nurtured generations of cinematic talent. The Beijing Film Academy embraces the entire spectrum of filmmaking. This includes production, creation, and research. The goal is training advanced film talents.
Think of Zhang Yimou. He is the director of “Hero” and “House of Flying Daggers”. Chen Kaige directed “Farewell My Concubine”. Jia Zhangke created “The World”. These award-winning directors are all Beijing Film Academy graduates. They followed in the footsteps of China’s most famous directors.
