Bang Sao Thong now has three sub-districts. These are known as tambon. These tambons divide further into 39 villages or muban. Bang Sao Thong itself is a township. It includes parts of Bang Sao Thong and Sisa Chorakhe Yai tambons. Each tambon has an administrative organization. It manages the non-municipal areas.
