The part of Bairro da Rainha Dona Leonor in Foz do Douro was built in 1953. It includes 150 homes. Two years later, in 1955, another section emerged in Lordelo do Ouro. It added five multi-family housing blocks to the neighborhood. The location is near Pasteleira.
