Have you heard about a faith that emphasizes unity? That is what the Baha’i Faith Metro Denver Center embodies. This center stands as a beacon of spiritual connection in Denver.

Let’s delve into the story of the Baha’i Faith in Denver. It began in the early 1900s. Mrs. A. M. Bryant became a Baha’i in 1900. ‘Abdu’l-Baha advised her to start a community in Denver in 1903.

Initially, there were around twenty Baha’is in Denver. By 1908, many had left or lost interest. Regular meetings stopped. Thornton Chase visited Denver in 1908. He gave a talk about the faith. This created some publicity. Some Baha’is started distributing pamphlets. However, the community remained mostly inactive.

Later in 1908, Mrs. Bryant worked to re-establish regular meetings. She set up a reading room on November 1. ‘Abdu’l-Baha sent a Tablet to the Denver Baha’is. He addressed them as the Denver Assembly. By 1910, the community held four weekly meetings. Corinne True and Thornton Chase visited in 1911. Their visits further encouraged teaching efforts.

‘Abdu’l-Baha toured the United States in 1912. He visited Denver and spoke on September 24, 1912. The Spiritual Assembly of the Baha’is of Denver, Colorado, was incorporated February 25, 1946.

Today, the Baha’i Faith Metro Denver Center continues this legacy. It fosters devotional gatherings. These gatherings respond to the longing for connection with the Creator. People unite in prayer. They awaken spiritual feelings. They shape a life of devotion.
