Pleased with his devotion Lord Shiva blessed him to be Paramsidh in the Kaliyug. He would remain a Balak and age would not affect him.

Dev was very religious from his childhood and he used to pray all the times. When he was so much under pressure for marriage he left home and moved towards Girnar Parwat in the search of Paramsiddhi. He met Swami Dattatreya in Junagarh. Here at the ashram of Swami Dattatreya, he got divine knowledge and emerged as Sidh. As Lord Shiva had blessed him that age will not affect him he remained as a child and called Balak Nath.

The original Baba Balak Nath Temple known as Deotsidh Temple is in Himachal Pradesh. It is one of the most important religious sites dedicated to Baba Balak Nath Ji. The temple complex includes a natural cave. It is believed that Baba Balak Nath Ji meditated and lived there.

You can reach the Sidh Shri Baba Balak Nath Mandir easily by car and public transport. The nearest metro station is Laxmi Nagar on the Blue Line. Modest clothing is recommended. The best time to visit is during the early morning hours for a serene experience. You can witness the morning aarti then.
