Stepping into the heart of Medina, we find ourselves at the Awali Municipality. A vital part of the city’s administration, Awali Municipality plays a crucial role in the daily lives of its citizens. Awali Municipality is one of twenty-three municipalities under the jurisdiction of the Madinah Municipality. These municipalities also include Uhud Municipality, al-Haram Municipality, al-Aqeeq Municipality, Quba Municipality, and others. The Madinah Municipality, in turn, reports to the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing. This intricate network ensures the smooth operation of services and development projects within the Medina Province. Think of Awali Municipality as a key player in this complex system, ensuring that everything runs according to plan within its designated area. Awali Municipality offers a broad range of services to its residents. These include customer service, query services, land and planning, construction licensing, and commercial activity licensing. Furthermore, they handle health certificates, investment services, and social services. The Awali Municipality falls under the larger Madinah Municipality, which oversees various administrative tasks and services. Awali Municipality plays a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of the local government, ensuring the well-being of the community it serves.
