Established in 1969 as Assumption School of Business, Assumption University Hua Mak Campus has a rich history. This campus, the original location of Assumption University, sits in the Hua Mak district of Bangkok. It primarily serves undergraduate students. Assumption University Hua Mak Campus wasn’t always a university. It began as Assumption Commercial College, evolving into Assumption Business Administration College (ABAC) in 1972. The Ministry of University Affairs granted it university status in 1990, officially becoming Assumption University. The Brothers of St. Gabriel, a Catholic order devoted to education, administer the non-profit institution. They have a long history in Thailand, operating educational institutions since 1901. Assumption University Hua Mak Campus is part of a global network. It embraces an international community of scholars, fostering a pursuit of knowledge through interdisciplinary approaches. The university prides itself on using cybertechnology creatively to enhance learning and research.
