Assembly of God Calvary Temple has existed in various forms since 1985. It has been at its current location since 2005. The church looks forward to many more decades of fruitful work. This work is for the gospel. Phil Metzger is the current lead pastor. He has served since January 2018.
Bryan Newberry is the founding pastor. He continues to serve the Lord. He shares his ministry through Words of Encouragement.
Assembly of God Calvary Temple embraces fundamental doctrines. These doctrines are of orthodox evangelical Christianity. The church believes in the inerrancy of Scripture. It sees the Bible as the inspired Word of God. This includes the Old and New Testaments.

Jesus Christ is fully God and fully human. He was born of a virgin. He lived a sinless life. He died on the cross for our sins. He resurrected. He ascended to the Father. He intercedes for us.
The Holy Spirit is co-equal with the Father and the Son. He makes people aware of their need for Jesus. He lives in every Christian from salvation. The church believes in the baptism of the Holy Spirit. This gives Christians power. It helps them live a fruitful life. It enables them to share the good news. The Spirit gives spiritual gifts.
