They journeyed from Burkina Faso on horseback in 1931, planting the first Assemblies of God seed in Yendi. Think of those early days. Missionaries like Beulah Buchhwalter, Guy Hickok, and Florence Blossom faced harsh conditions. They spread the Gospel, establishing churches in Tamale, Walewale, and Bawku. Assemblies of God, Ghana also addressed practical needs. They fought illiteracy and poverty. They taught skills and improved economic lives. They even built clinics in Saboba and Nakpanduri, bringing healthcare to those who needed it most. The church also understood the importance of education.
