Art on the run is based in Smallville Studio Berlin. It is located in the fun-loving neighborhood of Prenzlauer Berg. The studio is on the ground floor of a residential building. It has huge windows overlooking the park. Inside, you will find a seminar room. There is an open space daylight studio and digital in-house postproduction facilities. The equipment storage holds 20000 watts of lighting. It also offers a range of camera types from 35mm to 4k.

Wolfgang Kaskeline, born in 1897, directed promotional films for UFA. He was also a producer and professor at the Berlin Weissensee School of Art and Design. Kaskeline founded the first film academy under private law in Berlin in 1949. Art on the run Filmschool Berlin recreated the school.
