“Feel Free to contact us”. This call to connection resonates deeply within the Apostolic Revival Church. The Apostolic Revival Church stands as a testament to the enduring power of faith. It stands as a beacon of Pentecostal belief in Accra.

The Apostolic Revival Church’s story is interwoven with the broader narrative of the Apostolic Church in Ghana. This denomination sprouted from the Welsh revival of 1904-1905. This spiritual awakening ignited a global movement. It emphasized the gifts of the Holy Spirit. The Apostolic Church Ghana practices self-governing. It has local churches in every district in Ghana. It also operates foreign mission fields. Its headquarters are here in Accra.

The seeds of Ghanaian Pentecostalism were sown in Asamankese. Peter Anim Newman led a group of Christians. They sought deeper spiritual truths. They connected with the Apostolic Church in Bradford, England. Pastor George Perfect was dispatched to Asamankese in 1935. Later Pastor Peter Newman Anim was ordained.

However doctrinal differences arose. James McKeown and some members disagreed on divine healing. This led to a split. Newman formed the Christ Apostolic Church Ghana in 1938. Despite this division the Apostolic Church persevered.

The church’s headquarters relocated to Cape Coast in 1941. Pastor McKeown served as Superintendent Missionary. Pastors like R.S. Asomaning and J.A.C. Anaman provided support. Pastors Lartey Adotey A.S. Mallet C.K. Diaba and Elder Q.A.L. Quarshie started a branch in Accra in 1944. This branch grew quickly. In 1984 the headquarters moved to Accra.

The Apostolic Church has been instrumental in establishing mission fields. These fields are in Togo Benin Burkina Faso Cote D’Ivoire and the United States. By 2014 the number of administrative areas had increased.

The Apostolic Revival Church continues this legacy. It embraces the core tenets of Pentecostalism. This includes Trinitarian Evangelical and Bible-believing principles. The church aims to spread the good news of Jesus Christ. It emphasizes the power of the Holy Spirit.

Apostolic Revival Church follows specific Rules of Belief. These rules include a personal testimony of salvation and obedience. They require presence in church meetings and adherence to doctrines. Members contribute to the cause. They keep church counsel within the community. They also pray for and support each other.

The Apostolic Revival Church is part of a larger story. In 1953 some members followed McKeown. They formed the Gold Coast Apostolic Church. This later became the Church of Pentecost in 1962. The Divine Healers Church the Apostolic Reformed Church and the New Covenant Apostolic Church also emerged from the Apostolic Church Ghana.

Apostle Ben Paul Gbedze and Vicentia Gbedze lead Apostolic Revival Ministries. They are General Superintendents. The ministry sees itself as a continuation of the revival. This revival started on the day of Pentecost in A.D. 33. The ministry’s global headquarters is in Ashiaman. Its churches are planted among various people groups. These groups include those practicing traditional religion.

Today the Apostolic Revival Church remains committed. It is committed to its mission. It continues to spread its message of faith and revival.
