“Kingdom Set Time” is more than just a theme. It’s the guiding principle of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church. Antioch Missionary Baptist Church has a dual calling. The evangelization of unbelievers is one. Perfecting believers for the work of the ministry is the other. This ensures a godly and powerful witness to the world. It edifies the body of Christ.
Antioch Missionary Baptist Church seeks to fulfill its mission by maintaining an environment that accepts the Bible. The Bible is the inspired Word of God. It is without error and the complete revelation of God’s will. It is for the salvation of men. It serves as the divine authority for Christian faith and life.
Ministries and programs are developed to present our Savior to unbelievers. This allows them to make an informed decision about Christ. Believers mature in faith and become effective workers. This happens within the church and the community. Members determine their spiritual gifts and talents. They are directed into ministries and programs. These allow them to fully develop their gifts and talents. New methods and processes align with scripture. They are evaluated for long-term use within the church.
Antioch Missionary Baptist Church believes in one God. He is the Creator of all things. He is infinitely perfect. He eternally exists in three Manifestations. They are Father Son and Holy Ghost.
Jesus Christ is true God and true man. He was conceived of the Holy Ghost. He was born of the Virgin Mary. He died on the cross as the complete sacrifice for sin. He arose bodily from the dead. He ascended into heaven. He is now our High Priest and Advocate.
The Holy Ghost glorifies Jesus Christ. During this age He convicts men of sin. He regenerates the believing sinner. He guides instructs and empowers the Believer for godly living and service.
The scriptures are the inspired Word of God without error. They are the complete revelation of His will. This is for the salvation of men. They are the divine authority for Christian faith and life.
The true Church has two components. Jesus Christ is the Head. The Body consists of those regenerated by the Holy Ghost. This is through saving faith in Jesus Christ.
Man was created in God’s image but fell into sin. Only regeneration by the Holy Ghost brings salvation and spiritual life.
The shed blood of Jesus Christ provides justification and salvation. Only those who receive Jesus Christ are born of the Holy Ghost. They become children of God.
Water baptism by immersion follows accepting Christ. It is a testimony of death to sin and resurrection to new life. The Lord’s Supper depicts Christ’s death. It is a memorial service. It should be observed by all true Believers.
God created marriage for one man and one woman. They enter into a covenant relationship. They serve and sanctify one another for life. Any attempt to redefine marriage is rejected.
The personal return of Jesus Christ is our hope. It has a vital bearing on the Believer’s life. There will be a bodily resurrection of all the dead. Believers will experience everlasting joy with the Lord. Unbelievers will face judgment and everlasting punishment.
