The university was created under the Amity University Uttar Pradesh Act, 2005, passed by the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly. Amity University, Noida quickly grew, boasting over 80,000 students across 240 programs by 2011. It’s a sprawling urban campus, covering 60 acres. Amity University, Noida prides itself on being India’s first private university to implement both reservations and merit-based scholarships, creating opportunities for a diverse student body.
