AMIR House is the headquarters of the Association of Microfinance Institutions in Rwanda, a crucial organization dedicated to building a flourishing microfinance sector in this East African nation. It all began with a simple idea: to create a platform where microfinance institutions could collaborate, learn from each other, and share their expertise. Since 2007, AMIR House has been a vibrant hub for change, providing technical assistance and guidance to its members. Over 300 microfinance institutions across Rwanda have benefited from AMIR’s programs, reaching millions of families and individuals. But there’s more to AMIR House than just financial assistance. The organization fosters responsible finance, including consumer protection and financial education, empowering Rwandans to manage their finances wisely.
