Tucked away on Saranac Street, Al Rribat Al Aslami has served the Muslim community of San Diego since 1986. This Sunni mosque isn’t just a place of worship. It’s a vibrant hub, a testament to the faith and dedication of its 400 member families. Al Rribat Al Aslami offers more than just prayer services. It’s a place where the community comes together for celebrations, like Aqeeqa and Waleema, filling the air with delicious aromas and joyous laughter. The mosque also provides a wealth of educational opportunities. From Arabic and Quran memorization classes to Fiqh and Tafseer studies, Al Rribat Al Aslami nurtures spiritual growth and understanding. Counseling services and a monthly Qeyam program further support the community’s well-being. Al Rribat Al Aslami also houses Al-Huda School. This Saturday school welcomes children aged 4 to 12, providing instruction in Arabic, English, and Islamic Studies. Recognizing the importance of youth engagement, Al Rribat Al Aslami hosts separate weekly meetings for boys and girls every Sunday, fostering a sense of belonging and shared faith.
