It brings the total to over 34000 square meters. The hub includes 12 loading docks. It also features 14000 pallet positions. Dedicated areas support various operations. These include pick and pack. They also support kitting to line operations. Further areas support consolidation and deconsolidation. Cross docking is supported here too. RMA programs and reverse logistics also take place here.
Agility’s new facility also boasts office space. The office covers almost 3000 square meters. This space became the new headquarters for Agility in Malaysia. Wolfgang Hollermann, Agility CEO for Asia Pacific, commented on the opening. He highlighted Agility’s commitment to customers. He emphasized the improved services and facilities.
The logistics hub enjoys a strategic location. It sits in the central Klang Valley. North Port and Westport are only 45 minutes away. Kuala Lumpur International Airport is also 45 minutes away. Within the facility, space is divided. About 5000 square meters are a bonded area. The remaining 8000 square meters are non-bonded. This area serves for general cargo.
