Action International Ministries sends multinational missionaries. They treasure Jesus Christ. They minister His Gospel. Their work is in word and deed. They focus primarily on the poor.
Action International Ministries, or ACTION, has a clear vision. They want to see people put Jesus Christ above all else. They are dedicated to sharing His Gospel. This involves both speaking and doing.
ACTION follows a three-part strategy for urban ministry. It includes evangelism. It includes discipleship. It also includes development.
Currently Action International Ministries has 330 missionaries. They also have many other team members. These people work across 40 countries.
ACTION is always looking for more people. Their prayer is to add 221 missionaries. These new missionaries will help with the vital work of world missions. It is all for the glory of God.
ACTION is an interdenominational Christian mission. It commits itself to the Great Commission of Jesus Christ. This is found in Matthew 28:18-20. ACTION works with churches. They also work with other Christian organizations.
Together they present Jesus Christ. He is presented as Savior and Lord. This is evangelism. They also help Christians grow. They encourage submission to Christ. This strengthens the church. Finally, they minister to the whole person. This focuses especially on the poor. It reflects Matthew 25:31-46. This involves development and sustainability.
ACTION welcomes followers of Jesus Christ. They come from every background. Race, gender, ethnicity, and nationality don’t matter. ACTION wants its workers to grow. They want them to participate in the Great Commission. They encourage sharing ideas. They have an open-door policy. Every person is important to the Mission’s success.
ACTION personnel are known for their faith. They are committed to Jesus Christ. They show godly character. They are also competent.
ACTION also holds to a specific doctrinal statement. This statement affirms key biblical truths. They believe the Bible is the Word of God. It is divinely inspired. It is without error. It has supreme authority. They believe in one God. He exists eternally in three persons. These are the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. They believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. He is fully God and fully human. He died for our sins. He rose again. He ascended to Heaven. He will return. They believe in the Holy Spirit. He convicts, regenerates, and empowers believers. They believe that man is totally depraved because of the fall. They believe that salvation comes by grace through faith. It is not through works. They believe in the eternal bliss of the saved. They believe in the eternal suffering of the lost. They believe in the spiritual unity of all believers. They believe in maintaining purity in the church. This applies to both doctrine and life.
