Here at the A-Ma Cultural Village, you’ll find a stunning complex spanning 7,000 square meters. It’s a place of tranquility, nestled amidst trees and crisscrossing trails.
As you approach the temple within the A-Ma Cultural Village, you’ll ascend a series of terraced steps. These are adorned with intricately carved reliefs depicting auspicious symbols like the roaring tiger, the double lion, five cranes, and the double phoenix. These symbolic guardians lead you to the main gate pavilion, a portal to the spiritual heart of the village.
Stepping into the A-Ma Cultural Village reveals a large open courtyard. A raised platform stands at its center, and just before it, a small pond reflects the sky. A statue of a turtle graces the pond’s center, a small bowl balanced on its back. You might notice coins scattered across the pond’s floor. These are tokens of hope, tossed by visitors aiming for the bowl, a small act of devotion to the goddess.

During this time, you might see golden wind charms for sale. These are crafted by volunteers and are believed to ward off evil and usher in a fresh start for the new year.
Beyond the temple, further up the hill, stands the world’s tallest statue of A-Ma. Visible for miles around, this imposing figure serves as a beacon of hope and protection for all who traverse the seas. The A-Ma Cultural Village is more than just a destination.
