Wirye High School is located in Hanam City Gyeonggi Province South Korea. More precisely it is in Hakgam dong. It is a public high school.
The school’s establishment began in 2015. Construction started on February 23 and finished on February 12 2016. On January 4 2016 the school’s name was officially confirmed as Wirye High School. The first principal Shin Hyeon myeong took office on March 1 2016.
The first entrance ceremony was held on March 2 2016. A dedication ceremony marked the school’s official opening on September 1 2016. The first graduation ceremony took place on February 8 2018.
Wirye High School was designated a pilot school. It focused on class discussion based learning by the Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education on March 2 2018. An MOU was signed with Hanam Jinro Coaching Team on November 28 2018.
Kim Seong gon became the third principal on March 1 2022. The seventh graduation ceremony was held on January 9 2024. The ninth entrance ceremony occurred on March 4 2024.
