EDIT Hannam. A gallery whispering stories of contemporary art. EDIT Hannam, nestled in the vibrant art scene of Seoul, has showcased a diverse range of exhibitions. In 2024, EDIT Hannam hosted “Blooming Together: Contemporary Black Resilience,” featuring artists Luren Halsey and Marcus Leslie Singleton. This exhibition delved into themes of resilience and cultural identity within the Black community. EDIT Hannam also presented “Inner Portrait,” a group exhibition exploring the inner worlds and creative expressions of six Korean artists. Earlier in 2024, EDIT Hannam featured Chang Sungeun’s solo exhibition, “Warm and Black Stone.” This exhibition highlighted Sungeun’s unique artistic approach, combining traditional craftsmanship with contemporary aesthetics. Another notable exhibition was “Yellow: Infinite Color,” featuring the works of Paulo Monteiro, Aaron Garber-Maikovska, and Hyunsun Jo. This exhibition explored the multifaceted nature of the color yellow. EDIT Hannam started the year with “The Women,” a group exhibition featuring five international artists, each offering a unique perspective on female identity. Going back to 2023, EDIT Hannam presented “Between the Lines,” showcasing works by influential Korean artists Park Seo-bo, Ha Chong-hyun, and Lee Kun-yong. This exhibition delved into the evolution of Korean abstract art. Hyunsun Jo’s solo exhibition, “Puddle Jumper,” also graced EDIT Hannam’s walls in 2023, exploring themes of nature and personal narratives. Jinu Nam’s “Monsters” followed, presenting a unique blend of traditional and contemporary artistic expressions. EDIT Hannam continued its vibrant programming in 2022 with exhibitions like “Still Life & Landscape” and Lee Yunsung’s “SD ZODIAC.” The year also saw the “SUMMER SHOW,” featuring a diverse group of international artists. Joolee Kang’s “DOWN THE RABBIT HOLE” and “Moon and Stars” further enriched the gallery’s offerings. In 2021, EDIT Hannam held “ART NOW,” highlighting emerging artists and pushing the boundaries of contemporary art. EDIT Hannam. A dynamic space where art comes alive.
