“Comfortable with the scenery of Jeju Island.” That was the aim when Lotte Art Villas Resort in Jeju was created. Here at Arte Villas, art and luxury intertwine creating a unique experience.
Let’s step back to 2012. HelioArt installed around 100 artworks here. Artists like Hong Jin-sook and Lee Woljong contributed. Kim Yeonsook, Ko Bo-hyung, Seo Jae-cheol and Moon Chang-bae also added their talent. The artworks were chosen to harmonize with Jeju Island’s beauty. The interior design aimed for a luxurious image.
Consider Lee Woljong’s lithograph. It is called ‘The Middle of Jeju Life’. It graces the Lotte Art Villas Community Centre. Imagine Hong Jin-sook’s print. Her Sanbangsan – Attraction hangs in living rooms. Think of Changbae Moon’s image. His Time print is in master rooms.
The corridors feature Ko Bo-hyung’s Women of Jeju 1. These prints enhance the resort’s luxurious feel. The goal was to create a comfortable and visually pleasing environment. Guests could appreciate art. They could also relax in a luxurious setting.
