Let’s explore Shinhyeon High School together. This public high school resides in Jungnang-gu, Seoul. But there are actually two different schools with this name. We want to talk about the one located in Jungnang-gu.
Established in December 2003, Shinhyeon High School opened its doors in March 2004. Kim Jeong-ho was the first principal. The first graduating class consisted of 428 students in February 2007.
Fast forward to September 2019. Oh Seong-geun became the sixth principal. In February 2022, 196 students graduated. This brought the total number of graduates to 5198. March 2022 welcomed 211 new students.
Shinhyeon High School’s symbols reflect its values. The school tree is the pine. The school flower is the bellflower. These represent steadfastness and beauty.
