Seongnam Sujeong Elementary School’s story began in 1969. It was initially established as Seongnam No. 2 Elementary School. The school officially opened its doors on March 1 1970.
In 1981, the school expanded. It included a kindergarten. 1996 marked a name change. Seongnam No. 2 Elementary School became Seongnam No. 2 Elementary School. The school finally adopted its current name in 2003. It became Seongnam Sujeong Elementary School.
