Established in 1983, Sunduck High School stands proudly in Dobong-gu, Seoul. This isn’t just any school. Sunduck High School has a rich history woven into the fabric of Seoul. Originally founded as Sunduck School in 1974, it transitioned to Sunduck High School in 1982 and officially opened its doors in March 1983. The school’s first principal, Kim Yang-hyeon, oversaw its initial growth. Sunduck High School has seen significant expansions throughout the years. In 1986, the first graduation ceremony marked a milestone. A new school building was erected in 1990. The school transitioned to a private institution under the Seoye Elementary School Corporation in 2009. It was officially designated as Sunduck High School in 2010. In 2018, Gyeong Gap-pil took the helm as the 14th principal, guiding the school into a new era. Sunduck High School has continued to grow. The most recent graduation, the 37th, took place in 2022.
