Here stands Seoul PyeongAn Church. Do you know its story? It began modestly.
In 1992, Seoul PyeongAn Church was established. Before that, in 1992, Kim Jin-wook was appointed as a pastor. Lee Eun-hee was appointed as a training pastor that same year. Cho Sang-hyun joined as a pastor in 1993.
Seoul PyeongAn Church founded the World Missionary Society in 1994. Kim Jin-wook was ordained as a pastor. Jang Jae-hong became a training pastor. Kang Seong-cheon joined as a pastor. Lee Heung-min was also appointed as a pastor. Hwang In-soo joined as a pastor.
In 1995, Pastor Park Se-hyung was inaugurated. That year, Lee Deok-han, Kim Jong-soo, Park Jae-chun, and Son Jeong-guk. Lee Jong-gwan and Na Jae-myeong were appointed as elders.
In 1996, Lee Young-ja, Nam Sang-soon, Jeon Hye-won, and Jo Jin were appointed. In 1998, Kim Hee-ok became a reverend. Park Jong-seo was appointed as a pastor.
In 2000, the Education Center was expanded. Lee Won-nam became a pastor in 2001. Lee Seong-bok was also appointed as a pastor.
In 2003, Jeong Gwang-yoon became a pastor. Kim Jong-soo became an elder.
Several people were appointed as elders in 2006. These included Han Won-woo, Yang Joon-sik, Noh Sang-ho and Lee Dong-soo. That year, many were ordained as deacons. Lee Hwa-ja, Kim Do-hwa and Lee Geum-ja were ordained.
Hong Do-pyo became a pastor in 2007. Kim Jin-hee and Jeon Hye-won retired as deacons. Jeon Young-cheol resigned as a pastor. Seo Gi-soo was appointed as a pastor. Lee Ji-ho resigned as a pastor.
Song Rak-yeong retired. Yang Joon-sik and Han Won-woo became elders.
Kim Byeong-cheon, Hong Yong-gil, Choi In-soo and Kim Dae-sik were appointed. Jeong Won-jeong, Jang Bong-hyeon, Jeong Soon-gu and Park Jeong-hwan were also appointed.
Kim In-deok, Lee Ok-hee, Kim Boo-hee and Park Jeong-hee were appointed in 2008. Yoon Young-soon, Jeong Jong-im, Kim Jong-yeon and Lee Kyung-joo were also appointed. Choi Young-sook and Seo Yeo-ja became reverends.
Kim Cheon-sik retired as an elder. Park Joon-soo also retired. Son Woo-seok became a pastor.
In 2012, Pastor Jeong Ik-chan was inaugurated. Seok Jang-ho was appointed as a pastor. Kim Gwang-seok resigned as a pastor. Kim Tae-soon became a pastor.
In 2013, the Philippine Ladrak PyeongAn Church was dedicated. Kim Gwang-seok was ordained as a pastor. Lee Dong-soo became an elder. Yoo Jae-neung was appointed as a deacon.
Many more people were appointed in 2013. These included Kang Ok-hee, Kim Jong-soon, Min Ye-sik and Park Gap-ryeo. Park Yang-nam and Baek Soon-jeong became reverends. Kim Seon-bok resigned as a pastor.
In 2010, Lee Jong-ha became a missionary. Kim Seon-bok was ordained as a pastor. Go Jae-gwon resigned as a pastor.
In 2011, Park Jae-sook retired. There was a prayer meeting for a thousand-one special new life. Kim Seon-bok was ordained as a pastor. Kwon Young-min resigned as a pastor.
In 2012, Son Seung-pil resigned as a pastor. Yoo Mi-yeol became a cooperating pastor. The Education Center was expanded. Lee Cheon-won became a pastor. Kwon Ki-won became a pastor. The Education Center was expanded to four floors.
Seoul PyeongAn Church continues its mission today.
