Established in 1906, Sahmyook University 도서관 holds a unique place in South Korean history. Initially known as Euimyung College, this institution began its life in what is now North Korea. Sahmyook University 도서관 wasn’t always located in Seoul. It started its journey in Sunan, Pyeongan-namdo, North Korea. American Seventh-day Adventist missionaries founded the school to educate Christian believers in Korea. The university embodies a blend of faith, learning, and service. The university moved to Seoul in 1949, after Korea’s liberation from Japanese rule. The Korean War forced another closure in 1950. Sahmyook University 도서관 reopened in 1951 at its current location in Nowon-gu, Seoul. The university has grown significantly since its humble beginnings. It now boasts six colleges and four graduate schools. Sahmyook University 도서관 offers a diverse range of programs.
