In 2011, a new chapter began in the story of Seoul’s educational landscape. Samgaksan High School opened its doors. This public high school, nestled in the vibrant Gangbuk district of Seoul, quickly became an integral part of the community. Samgaksan High School’s official Korean name, 삼각산고등학교, reflects its location near Mount Samgaksan. The school’s founding marked a significant expansion of educational opportunities in the area. In 2011, Samgaksan High School welcomed its first students. The initial enrollment was 308 bright young minds. Fast forward to 2022, and the school now boasts approximately 584 students and 90 faculty members. The school has seen significant growth over the years. This growth led to renovations and expansions to accommodate the increasing student population. Samgaksan High School is more than just bricks and mortar. It is a place where students discover their passions, forge lifelong friendships, and prepare for the future. The school offers a diverse range of academic programs and extracurricular activities.
